The application process of BPSSC SI Recruitment  has started and its last date is 30 June 2025.  Those who are interested and eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification
    Minimum qualification should be a graduate degree  from a recognized university. Degree completion date  must be by 1 August 2025 .

  • General (Male): 21-37 years
  • General (Female): 21-40 years
  • OBC/EBC (Male/Female): 21-40 years
  • SC/ST (Male/Female): 21-42 years
  • Physical Standards
  • For Male Candidates:
  • Height: 165 cm
  • Chest (unexpanded): 79 cm
  • Chest (Expanded): 84 cm
  • For Female Candidates:
  • Height: 150 cm

Need for physical test

Physical fitness is a core part of this recruitment. Different benchmarks have been set for both male and female candidates:

Male Candidates

  • 25 km walk will have to be completed  in 4 hours .

Female Candidates

  • 14 km walk will have to be completed  in 4 hours .

Here you only have to maintain fitness, you do not get marks in physical test.


Selection Process

This recruitment  will be completed in 4 stages :

  • Prelims Exam
  • There will be multiple-choice questions.
  • It is necessary to score minimum 30% to move.
  • Mains Exam
  • Total marks and syllabus details are available on the BPSSC website.
  • 0.2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer  .
  • physical test
  • It is only necessary to qualify. No extra marks are given here.
  • Interview
  • The final merit list will be prepared by the combination of Mains exam marks and interview.
